Danny Pfeifer - Bass Guitar, Back-up Vocals

Starting with the flute at the age of seven, bassist Danny Pfeifer has been involved in music for over twenty years. Over the years he has played trombone, tuba, saxophone, trumpet, oboe, and finally moving into bass. Daniel became an official WithdrawALIEN after joining them for a impromptu gig at there hometown bar "Sonny's" Influenced by everything from ABBA to Zappa (skip the Yannie), Danny has found a home in the ever evolving grooves of the Withdrawals. "I went to my first Grateful Dead show and realized the powerful connection between the audience, the band, and the music, "he said, "I knew then where I was headed in my musical adventures." After studying Electrical Engineering at NMSU he headed to Albuquerque for work. But, after running into Keith and Andy, decided to persue music full time. He is also a member of the "Saturday Night Fever Blisters." Whether rumbling through funk-filled jams or driving the bus at 4am Danny fits right in with the Withdrawals approach to life. Danny spends his spare time studying jazz, hiking, cycling, eating popcorn, and trying to get enough sleep on the road.
