It was in the Fall of 1988 when Keith Thomas & Andrew Dunn met in Albuquerque. After 6 years of playing in other bands together,
Keith and Andy formed The Withdrawals in 1994. The smooth and heavy-hitting grooves of Danny Pfeifer (Bass/ Vocals) & Josh English (Drums/Percussion)
have anchored the band's sound from ’97 to '05. Joining the band for their summer tour '04 of the Pacific Northwest are Chongo, percussionist extraordinaire
from Cincinnati, Ohio.
Based out of Albuquerque, NM, The Withdrawals have toured the Western states and are quickly becoming many regions’ top drawing
act & they continue to gain new fans wherever they go.
The 1st CD “SMILE” was released in 1996(?) The 2nd CD “Evolution” was released in 1998.
In 2001 the band released a 3rd full length CD called "Good Man". The fourth compilation is due to be release early in 2006 (Live at Memorial Park).
